What materials do you work with?
We work with recycled sterling silver, 14kt gold-filled, 14kt solid gold, semi-precious and precious stones, and freshwater pearls.
What is gold-filled?
14kt gold-filled is a technique where a sheet of solid 14 karat gold is heat bonded to a core of brass, so that it has a much higher gold content than gold plating. Since 14kt gold filled is legally required to contain 1/20th of its weight in gold, the jewelry will not fade and continue to shine like pure gold. With proper care, a 14kt gold-filled piece can be worn for years without showing any signs of wear.
Is your silver sterling?
Yes it is - and it is 100% recycled! Sterling silver is the strongest alloy of silver (92.5% silver and 7.5% copper), balancing beauty and durability. On certain pieces we apply an oxidized finish to highlight the recesses and hammering in order to create contrast on the sterling.
What if any of the pieces in my order don’t meet my expectations?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of jewelry receipt if you're not satisfied with the craftsmanship or the piece doesn't meet your expectations. Please contact us for a RA#. Full refunds minus shipping charges will be given upon receipt.
What if I have a J+I item that needs a repair?

Jewelry Care Guide
Each piece of our jewelry is handcrafted and therefore delicate. Please take care of your jewelry so you can enjoy them for a lifetime. The majority of our jewelry is made of recycled sterling silver, 14kt gold filled and 14 karat gold.
We recommend you take off your jewelry before getting in the pool, bath, or doing any physically strenuous activities.
To avoid tarnishing when you store your jewelry, make sure it is stored airtight, as humidity is an enemy to precious metals.
Clean your jewelry with warm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush to get into all the different nooks and crannies. We don't recommend using harsh cleaners or chemicals. Ultrasonic cleaners, while often effective, can also damage the piece.
Most of our jewelry has a dark oxidized black patina applied to the silver. Using a jewelry cloth will lighten this patina and should be only used on the chains and gold elements. The dark patina on the silver might get lighter over time, especially on pieces that experience more wear such as necklace chain and ring. If at any point you would like your piece re-patinaed, please contact us directly.

If you would like to measure your ring size immediately, print out our simple Ring Sizing Guide. Before you print the guide, be sure to check that page scaling is set to “none” on your print dialog box.
Use the Ring Sizing Guide to measure a ring you have at home by placing the ring over the size circles until it matches the inside edge of your ring. Make sure the ring you use fits the exact finger (and hand) the you are purchasing the ring for.
To create your own ring sizer, start by cutting out the ring sizer. Wrap the ring sizer snugly around the widest part of the intended finger so that the numbers are visible to you, and insert the pointed end through the slit you made in the sizer. Make note of the number that lines up with the slit, this is your ring size!
