Each satin-finished sterling silver open teardrop — elongated and narrowed to a point at the top — carries a cluster of overlapping 14K gold-filled wire coils wrapped at the curved base, flanking each side of the bottom curve. The smooth matte silver of the teardrop body keeps the form clean, with the gold wire wrap providing the sole point of contrast and detail.
These earrings measure 50mm in total drop length from the bottom of the 14K gold-filled ear wires.

Where is your jewelry made? In our Queen Village studio in Philadelphia. Every piece is handmade by Ian at his bench.
What is your delivery lead-time? 1-3 business days for individual orders. Wholesale orders take 4-6 weeks.
What materials do you work with? Recycled sterling silver (often oxidized), 14k gold-filled and solid gold wire, semi-precious stones, and freshwater pearls.
What is gold-filled? A thick layer of 14k solid gold bonded to a brass core - 1/20th gold content by weight, which is legally required to be called "gold-filled." It wears like solid gold, not like gold-plated jewelry that rubs off over time.
Is your silver sterling? Yes, 100% recycled sterling silver (92.5% silver, 7.5% copper). Many pieces are oxidized to bring out the hammered texture and create contrast with the gold.
